【7/14開催】第9回光エレクトロニクス・光通信/第3回光インターネット国際会議 (OECC/COIN 2004) にて Young Scientist Award を授与

LEOS Japan Chapterでは，若手研究者の研究活動を奨励するために，IEEE Japan Councilの御支援のもと，若手研究者を対象とした賞を授与してきました．一昨年はOECC2002においてStudent Awardを，また昨年開催されたOAA2003ではYoung Scientist Awardを授与しています．

今年も，7月12日～16日までの期間，横浜で開催された第9回光エレクトロニクス・光通信/第3回光インターネット国際会議 (9th Optoelectronics and Communications Conference/3rd International Conference on Optical Internet : OECC/COIN 2004)において， Young Scientist Awardの授与を行いました．
同Awardは，会議に投稿された優秀な論文の中から， 30歳以下の若手研究者が筆頭著者の論文を対象として，各カテゴリーから1名ずつに与えられました．

授賞式は，7月14日(水)，18時からのBuffet Partyの中で行われました．
