IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) Hiroshima Chapter

Overview:

The IEEE Hiroshima Section, Systems, Man, and Cybernetics
Society Chapter has been formed on November, 2005. Chapter activities include research, education, industrial, and social collaboration in the area of computational intelligence and its applications. There are several topics that have been discussed, such as human factors, energy process engineering, and intelligent systems.

Objectives:

The intermediate and long term aims of the Chapter are:

  • Actively introduce this Chapter and IEEE, and recruit new members, in particular, student members.
  • Organize industrial collaboration seminars and technical talks to promote science and engineering practices in real applications with the industry.
  • Form work groups with industry to address critical issues, such as product design, industrial safety, environment, and social systems.
