趣旨：
RTはロボット技術とITとの融合による価値創造を意味しており，これからの生活や社会にとって重要なテクノロジーと位置づけられています．なかでも，災害，セキュリティ，屋外環境，宇宙探査等での人間には困難な場所における活動や，人間の能力を超えた状況に対しては，ロボットやITの適用が強く求められています．これらの問題の解決のためには，産官学民が連携し，重点的に研究開発を進めていかなければなりません．
本シンポジウムは，これらの問題を概観し，今後の連携の進め方について議論することを目的としています．特に今回は，副題として
"Application horizons from inner space to outer space"を掲げ，体内の極微の世界から，広大な宇宙空間に至るまでの様々な特殊環境におけるRT研究開発の現状と可能性について，国内外の研究者による９件の講演を企画しました．
この分野に興味を持つ多くの方々の参加をお願いいたします．
