Explanation of submitting Poster and Regular Paper

Overview

There are two types of paper in IMFEDK2012. One is Regular Paper for oral presentation and another is Poster Paper. The Regular Paper is open for all authors while the Poster Paper is only for Students.

Authors should submit 1 page abstract as A4 size PDF file for a review by Program Committee members. Authors of accepted papers should submit 2 pages Final Paper as A4 size PDF file for publication as a proceeding and IEEE digital library.

Submission of Papers should be done through Submission Web Site which will be explained later. If you do not submit the Final Paper both your presentation and paper publication will be cancelled.

Procedure of the abstract submission and acceptance:

IMFEDK2012 will be held jointly with EDS (Electron Devices Society) Kansai Chapter and SSCS (Solid-State Circuits Society) Kansai Chapter and the review will be conducted separately between EDS and SSCS by the reviewers from EDS and SSCS respectively. Authors of accepted papers will be informed by Feb. 20, 2012.

Abstract for Regular Paper is limited to 500 words of text with some figures and for Poster Paper is limited to 200 words of text with some figures both in 1 page in A4 size. PDF is only acceptable format.


Submission of Abstract in 3 Steps


Step 1 : Create Abstract

Abstract is limited to 1 page of A4 size PDF file. Title of paper, author names and affiliation should be included.


Step 2 : Create PDF file

Create PDF file with all fonts embedded with no password.
Proceed to the next step for submission of the paper.


Step 3 : Submission
 
Submission of Abstract should be done from this Web Site electrically.

If it is your first time to use EasyChair you need to sign up to create your account.

After log-in please click "New Submission" at the top of the page and fill out all of necessary fields such as names, address, e-mail etc. You need to input all of the authors' info. "Abstract" field just bellow "Title" line should be left blank.

After fill out the title of the paper please select category of the paper and indicate if the first author is a student or not by selecting group.

There are four categories in IMFEDK2012 as follows:
Check Group field to indicate if the first author is a student or not.
Lastly select Topics of your paper. There are three topics for papers from EDS members and one topic for SSCS members.
Then upload your paper by selecting PDF file to submit. You will receive an e-mail to confirm your submission.
