Announcement of Candidates for IEEE Fukuoka Section Officers and Executive Committee Members for 2005/2006
Dear IEEE Fukuoka Section Members,
Pursuant to the provisions of the Fukuoka Section Bylaws (Article V), the following candidates have been nominated for the Fukuoka Section's 2005/2006 Officers and Members of the Executive Committee. This announcement is made upon approval by the Section Executive Committee.
Officer Candidates Chair: Tamotsu Ninomiya, Professor, Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering Kyushu University
Vice Chair: Kouichi Utsumiya, Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Intelligent Systems Engineering Oita University
Secretary: Tadashi Suetsugu, Associate Professor, Dept. of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science Fukuoka University
Treasurer: Mitsuo Taguchi, Associate Professor, Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Nagasaki University
Candidates for Members of Executive Committee: Eitaku Nobuyama, Professor, Dept. of Systems Innovation and Informatics Kyushu Institute of Technology
Tomio Takara, Professor, Dept. of Information Engineering University of The Ryukyus
If you wish to recommend additional candidates other than the above, please submit a petition with the signatures of 2% (8 persons) or more of the Section voting members, that is, higher grades than the Member. The petition should reach the Section Office (See the following address) by November 6. In the event that plural candidates are nominated, the ballot election would be conducted in November.
