Information for for Poster Presenters
Dear Colleague,
This is sent to the authors of poster to be presented in R10-HTC2013, in Sendai, Japan, from August 26 to August 29, 2013.
- *IMPORTANT* The dimensions of posters are CHANGED:
The dimensions of posters are changed so that they fit better to the panels at the conference venue. Please prepare your poster to be fit within 89 cm wide x 126 cm high (about 35 inches x 50 inches), a little larger than a vertical A0 paper size.
You can prepare your poster to be split into several small papers as long as they fit the dimensions; eight horizontal A3 papers arranged for a matrix of two cols and four rows, or nine vertical A3s in 3x3 matrix, for example. The poster has to be brought to the conference venue by each of presenters. Thumbtacks to pin a poster will be prepared at the conference venue. - Once you arrive at Tohoku Univ., the conference venue ...
When you arrive at the conference site at Kawauchi Campus of Tohoku Univ., please come to the registration desk and receive the conference kit that contains the brochure, the proceedings (USB memory), etc. - POSTER SETUP:
Please come to the room A105 between 0:30pm and 1:00pm, August 27, with your poster. - POSTER SESSIONS:
While your poster is displayed during August 27 and 28, two time slots are designated "POSTER SESSIONS" as follows: 3:30pm-4:30pm, August 27, and 3:30pm-4:00pm, August 28, both at A105.
Presenters will be expected to stand next to their poster in the both sessions, deliver short oral presentations, and discuss with the attendees. You may bring a tablet or a laptop if you want, though no power line is prepared. - POSTER REMOVAL:
After 4:00pm, August 28, you can remove your poster.
